Titus 3:2

Titus 3:2

“to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.” – Titus 3:2

“Remind them” – this is the context to this verse…

to speak evil of no one – we must learn not to speak evil of people, period.

to be peaceable, gentle – being peaceable and gentle – this is what it “looks like” to be a Christian.

“showing all humility to all men”  – displaying “this again is visible” there should be fruit seen in the lives of the followers of Christ. And this should be towards all men – not use our friends, or family – everyone ought to see a follower of Jesus.

An application:

As an “overseer”, Lord, help me to guard the tongue, to be gentle, and let the fruit of my life been seen and known by all men that I am indeed a follower of Jesus. Amen.
